Switching to different ports on the Displays.Using different cables for the Displays.Going through all possible settings on the displays, such as DisplayPort 1.2 On/Off etc.I have tried everything that I can think of without any luck, including I can have each Display connected individually without any problems, but as soon as both are connected I get the "Global Reset". I have narrowed down the problem a bit - it seems like this happens only when I have two displays attached to my Thunderbolt 3 Dock (which I always have). After that, I can start the computer again. If I turn off the computer, it seems like it doesn't fully shut down, because every time I start it again, it won't respond, so I have to hold down the power button for ten seconds after which it is fully turned off. When the computer is finally started I get the exact same "Global Reset" error message as you. Started after I upgraded to Big Sur.Įvery time I restart, it hangs during the restart (with a multi-language error message written in grey on black background) and then restarts again.
